Tony Romo has shown his good and the bad side in last four seasons. When he is good, he is extremely good. For instance he is rated ‘good’ in terms of his passer ratings, he is the fifth best passer in four quarters.
He fared dramatically well too on the grounds that he overcomes a rib injury and rallies for a win overtime on the road, and then in a week’s time pull yet another win against a rival.
His bad side showed when he made a terrible mistake which made Cowboys lose an expected 14 point lead in the 4th quarter. This was a history for Cowboys.
We got to see another bad side of Tony Romo when he fumbled a short field goal and thus lost as a No.1 seed in the next postseason chance.
However team owner Jerry Jones has no grudges and says, “We’ve got an outstanding quarterback and one that gives us a chance to really win a lot of important ballgames.” Adding further he said, “I feel very strongly about that.”
However fans seem pretty tired after the roller coaster ride that Romo gave. Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach feel that it takes something more than talent to win a championship. Romo displayed definite toughness though, by returning to the game that broke his rib. Dedicated too he came early and stayed up late and was appreciated by team mates for organizing workout sessions even during the lockout.
He is however an impulsive thrower, and has several times being warned by Bill Parcells who also asked him to take better care of the ball.
